BJC Home Care Services offers patients and their families a complete range of home care services, including skilled nursing services, adult and pediatric hospice and supportive care, rehabilitation therapy, home infusion therapy, infusion treatment rooms, home medical equipment and high-tech respiratory care. Specialty home care programs also are available, including adult and pediatric asthma, cardiac, diabetes, orthopedic and wound care programs as well as the Lifeline emergency response system. BJC Home Care Services provides care to thousands of patients in both Missouri and Illinois. Serving more than 25 counties, it has become the largest home care network in the region and one of the largest in the country.

The Home Medical Equipment Department of BJC Home Care Services offers quality medical equipment and services that our patients can purchase or rent. We offer equipment delivery and comprehensive training on the use of the equipment. The Home Medical Equipment Department also provides home respiratory equipment, supplies and services for patients who need home oxygen or other respiratory therapies, with staff that include registered therapists and other highly trained professionals.


Overview


Role Purpose

To accurately ship medical equipment/ supplies to patients and to accurately receive in the warehouse medical equipment/ supplies from manufacturers/vendors.

Responsibilities

  • Receives medical equipment and supplies into the warehouse.
  • Verifies equipment and supplies received matches manufacturer shipping documentation.
  • Assigns department serial numbers to asset equipment.
  • Verifies that equipment and supplies pulled and processed by warehouse is accurate.
  • Ships medical equipment and supplies to patients via UPS, courier, US Mail or delivery vehicle.

Minimum Requirements


Degree

Description

R&R is currently seeking a Full-Time Shipping/Receiving Clerk.

In this role, you will be the primary authority for all things entering & leaving the facility. This includes, (but is not limited to) Apparel, consumaables & production equipment. This position is also responsible for workfloe staging for the various production departments, Domestic & International shipments & light Data Entry, as well as other potential duties deemed necessary by management.

We are currently offering this position in the following shift(s)

  • A Shift: Monday – Friday: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm

Qualifications

  • Experience with outgoing shipments (UPS WorldShip, Fed Ex & LTL a plus)
  • Forklift experience a plus
  • High Attention to Detail
  • Common software proficiency (Windows OS, light data entry)

The ideal candidate stays cool under fire to help the team meet or exceed production deadlines and quality expectations in a constantly changing, fast paced manufactory environment.

Experience in manufactury is preferred but not required for this position. R&R will train a candidate with the appropriate combination of education and experience

Work involves lifting, standing, and operating an overhead hoist. Forklift and prior manufacturing experience a plus. Load and unload trucks with overhead crane or forklift/pallet jacks, tagging tires and resourcing issues as they arise.
