Job Description: Summary of Position
The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for the full life cycle recruiting process within the organization. The Talent Acquisition Specialist will be responsible for maintaining the cycle, as well as championing for new and innovative ideas to further develop and sustain candidate pipelines and other recruiting ideas.
Job Specification: Essential Duties and Responsibilities
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead the creation of a recruiting and interviewing plan by partnering with Hiring Manager(s).
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions.
- Create and sustain networks and relationships with employment agencies, technical schools, colleges, web-based recruiting sites, and community services to enhance active employee recruiting and identify/develop passive recruiting sources as well.
- Plan and organize onsite job fairs, research and recommend external job fair opportunities.
- Manage online job postings for all internal and external job boards (Paycor, Indeed, Zip Recruiter).
- Serve as system administrator for the Applicant Tracking System (Paycor).
- Assist with other internal HR operations as needed.

Qualifications and requirements
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR or related field or an equivalent combination of experience and education will be considered in lieu of degree
- Must be an excellent communicator (both written and verbal)
- Must possess exceptional organizational and planning skills.
- In-depth knowledge of Applicant Tracking Systems is preferred (experience with Paycor is a plus).
- Must be familiar with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Ability independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
- 3+ years’ experience with recruiting in a high volume, multiple shift manufacturing environment.
- Must be an advanced user of Microsoft Office Suite and Applicant Tracking Systems

- Ability to push, pull or carry several types of lightweight files, papers, books (1 -10 pounds) and process accordingly.
- Ability to sit at a desk using a computer for approximately 8 hours per day.

Job Brief
We are looking for a Talent Acquisition Specialist who specializes in technical recruiting to join our HR department and help us grow our IT teams.
The ideal candidate is someone who has a proven track record of successfully building and maintaining candidate pipelines, has a data-driven approach, builds trust with key stakeholders, and is a humble collaborator with leaders and peers. This candidate also thrives in a fast-paced environment, is willing to roll up their sleeves, and fiercely passionate about our mission.
Responsibilities
- Identify, source and engage candidates through creative and innovative sourcing approaches
- Provide market research to support candidate and geographic profiling to guide recruiting in various locations
- Review, pre-screen and interview candidates to determine appropriateness of skills, experience, and knowledge in relation to position requirements
- Serve as the primary point of contact for candidates throughout the full recruiting cycle (i.e. communicate status, answer questions and coordinate all follow-up efforts)
- Ensure consistent communication regarding recruiting efforts by providing status updates to all stakeholders through meetings, email updates, and reports
- Monitor the effectiveness of all recruiting efforts, with specific attention paid to continued flow of candidates through the recruiting pipeline
- Keep up to date with new technological trends and products
Requirements
- 4+ years of successful recruiting experience in a fast-paced environment on software engineering or technically niche roles
- Exposure to full lifecycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, negotiations/closing, and candidate relationship management
- Experience working with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
- Experience using data to consult with hiring managers to make data-based decisions on processes and approaches
- Provide excellent support to candidates throughout the recruitment process to ensure a world class candidate experience
